The two recently completed projects, Opus hotel and SOHO both won prestigious awards this year.
In Dubai the Opus won the Architizer A+ Award in the ‘Hotels & Resorts’ category.
In Beijing, China, Leeza Soho won the CTBUH Award in the ‘Interior Architecture’ category.
Although both projects’ exterior is a story by itself, we find the interior design is more spectacular. It is taking us to a new era in the world of interior design.
The interior of the main space flows seamlessly, with wings, to create smaller spaces emerging from the main one.
The walls, false ceilings, sitting platforms, projected organically from the continuous space curve. The lighting lines are drawn meticulously to move along the ceilings’ curves generating an image of better flies emerging from the background. The innovative use of the lighting that looks like lines drawn by a brush, is striking and tranquilizing. This design will be so inspiring for many generations to come!
Zaha Hadid mastering architecture, interior, furniture design, and recently interior lighting, made the design reach this perfection.
